Boehner, House GOP Leaders Speak at Tea Party on Capitol Hill

 This afternoon, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH), along with other Members of the House Republican Leadership, attended a taxpayer tea party protest held within the shadow of the Capitol. An excerpt from Boehner's comments at the event, as Politico reported: The American people can stop this nonsense in Washington. It's going to take the involvement of the American people to say, enough is enough.The American people have spoken. They don't want government-run health care. Republicans are on the side of the American people. That's why Leader Boehner has called on President Obama and Speaker Pelosi to hit the ‘reset button' on health care and start over to forge a real bipartisan solution that's representative of the American people's values.
